* Renewal period = Checkout Period for each item type.
* You may renew items a maximum of three times.

Online

  • Click My Account in the top menu. 
  • Enter the barcode number from your library card and your 4-digit PIN.
  • Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  • Click Checkouts to manage your renewals.

By Phone
Dial 760-738-0249 to renew your items over the phone.

 

Reserve

Is the item checked in?
If an item that is showing as Available on the library catalog and you are coming in to pick it up right away, please call library so that a staff member may set the item aside for you.

If the item is not showing as checked in:
To reserve an item that is not showing as Available, please click on the Request next available copy button and follow the instructions on the screen.  You will be asked to enter your library barcode number.

Once the item is available, you will receive a phone call, email, or text message depending on your notification preference. You will then have one week to pick up your item.

E-mail and text notices

Email notifications are handled through our new Integrated Library System. Please make sure that we have your email address on file by speaking to Customer Service staff, either in person or by calling 760-839-4684.

 

We are also able to provide you with the ability to receive text message alerts with pre-overdue, overdue, and holds information. You will also be able to renew items right from your cell phone! Just follow these instructions.
