NEA’s Read Across America is now in its 15th year, which deals on motivating children and teens to read.   The Children's Staff was able to go out to the community and participate in two local schools reading events. Juniper and Miller Elementary schools were our stops this year. It was great to be a part of this national celebration.

This day also coincided with Dr. Seuss' birthday.

If you were celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday, what characters from his books would you invite to the party? I think I would invite the Cat in the Hat. What’s wrong with that?

Can you make your own little poem with your favorite character?

Go to the the Seussville website to learn more about Dr. Seuss books and his characters, fun games and more!
