The Neave Trio, a piano and string trio will be opening the Escondido Public Library’s 2nd Saturday Concert Series.  Their performance is on Saturday November 10th, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Escondido Public Library, 239 S. Kalmia Street, Escondido CA 92025. This young classic music trio (violinist Anna Williams, cellist Mikhail Veselov and pianist Toni James) has been hailed by critics as an “up-and-coming ensemble” (WQXR Radio, New York City), and praised for its “heart on-sleeve performances” (Classical New Jersey). All rising young soloists, the members of the Neave Trio have enjoyed international concert and competition success spanning four continents, including a recital appearance at the British Embassy in Oslo, Norway. They will be playing works by Ravel, Beethoven, and Dvorak. This is the first in our 2nd Saturday Concerts Series. In the coming months, we are looking forward to performances by the Danny Green Jazz Quartet and Zimbeat playing the music of Zimbabwe.

These concerts are free and open to the public, and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Escondido Public Library.
