2nd Saturday concert kicks off with the Folk Collection

Folk CollectionThe Folk Collection is back after four years to kick off the start of the second season of 2nd Saturday Concerts at the Escondido Public Library. The Folk Collection will be playing in the Turrentine Room of the Escondido Public Library on Saturday November 12th, 2011 at 3:30 PM. They will be performing the classic folk tunes of the ‘60s in their unique style blend music and humor. Playing songs like “This Land is Your Land,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Where Have all the Flowers Gone?,” and John Denver tunes, they have their  audience singing along and leaving their concerts with a smile. Join us for an afternoon of good music and good humor with the Folk Collection.
These concerts are free and open to the public, and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Escondido Public Library.  The Escondido Public Library is located downtown at 239 S. Kalmia Street.  For more information, please call (760) 839-4839
