The Escondido Public Library is pleased to announce the upcoming schedule for the 2020 2nd Saturday Concert Series.
Since 2006, the Escondido Public Library's 2nd Saturday Concert Series has hosted music concerts and it continues to be one of the most popular programs at the Library. All performances are free, open to the public, and last approximately 1.5 hours with a 10-15 minute intermission.

Music Around the World - Del Mar Duo: Flute and Piano Concert

Rosalind Richards and Loie Flood play regularly at many venues including: Palomar College, Southwestern College, Athenaeum, Dove Library, Encinitas Library, Escondido Library, Vista Library, Scripps Ranch Library, UCSD, San Diego Library, etc. Rosalind is a member of a flute ensemble in Sorrento Valley and was a principal flutist at the La Jolla Civic Orchestra. Loie is an accompanist at UCSD for Phil Larson’s choir, and plays violin with the La Jolla Civic Orchestra. Both are also members of a Classical Trio and play at weddings, parties, receptions and libraries.

The Concert Series is made possible by the Friends of the Escondido Public Library. All programs are FREE and open to the public. Most Concert Series programs are approximately 1.5 hours long with a 10-15 minute intermission and, unless otherwise noted, are held at 3:00 p.m. in the Turrentine Room at the Escondido Public Library, 239 South Kalmia St., Escondido. Where: Turrentine Room. The Auditorium is on the second floor of the Library.
When: Second Saturday of each month at 3:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Programs usually last 1.5 hours with a 10-15 minute intermission.

Parking: Free parking inside the Library Campus, two hour parking available at the library on Kalmia St., and additional parking is available at public spaces within walking distance of the library.
