The book was about Tara and her family being against the government. Their religious beliefs did not conform with the government or social norms.

I very much enjoyed the book because she spoke about her story and her hardships growing up. It will help others find their voice and tell their stories.

Yes I would recommend that people read this book because it is very heartfelt. Tara overcame and conquered her fear of her family and is helping others to step out of the darkness.
