The driveway, which is defined as a permanently surfaced area providing direct access for vehicles between a street and a permitted off-street parking or loading area and extending to a maximum width equal to the curb cut approved by the City Engineer. View Section 28-300.

Article 25 of the Escondido Zoning Code provides the criteria to park your recreational vehicle on a residential property. Recreational vehicles are required to be stored in rear or side yards. If your property does not have suitable access to these areas, parking on the front yard may be permitted but there are additional requirements.
