A World Without Heroes

by Brandon Mull

This book follows Jason Walker, a boy who finds himself inexplicably transported from Earth to a strange kingdom called Lyrian. He accidentally finds himself on a quest searching for a strange word that would undo the power of the emperor, Maldor. Along the way, he encounters Rachel, who also came from Earth, and is now trapped here. Together, they must find a way to overcome the obstacles in their path, and defeat the emperor, risking their lives in the process.

I liked this book because it was full of adventure, and was rarely, if ever, boring. The book takes you along with it's heros and through it's many twists that leave you guessing and wanting more. The story was fascinating, and very vivid.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy action filled books or fantasy books. The book is also good for people who enjoy suspense and plot twists, but if cliffhangers and suspense aren't for you, then this isn't the best book for you.
