The Comic-Con International Graphic Novel Book Club will meet the third Monday of every month at 6:00 PM at the Escondido Public Library. Meetings will last approximately 90 minutes. Membership in this group is extremely limited (no more than 20 people per meeting).
You must submit this INTEREST FORM in order to be considered for membership. You must also be above the age of 18 and have a Comic-Con Member ID for consideration. Members are responsible for obtaining their own books for each meeting, either by purchasing a printed or digital copy or borrowing from a library. This club will be a closed group.

Writers of all genres are invited to read their work and receive group critiques in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Bilingual book discussion in English and Spanish will be discussing In the Midst of Winter/Más allá del invierno by Isabel Allende.

Famous Chilean-American novelist, Isabel Allende, intertwines three characters together in an unforeseen accident. This account travels from the 1970’s in Chile and Brazil bringing together the love story of two of the main characters.

La novelista chilena-american Isabel Allende mezcla tres personajes juntos en un accidente imprevisto. Este cuento viaja desde los 1970’s en Chile y Brazil y trae junto una novela de amor entre dos personajes principales.
