Escondido, CA - Rincón Literario (The Literary Corner), Escondido Public Library’s Bilingual Book Discussion Group, will meet on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. in the Turrentine Room as a part of the Library’s annual Summer Reading Challenge for kids, teens, and adults, which runs from June 13 to July 31. Exercise Your Mind by reading for enjoyment and log your reading for opportunities to win prizes at library.escondido.org/summer. This month’s selection is El Marciano/The Martian by Andy Weir. Copies of the book are available for check out and may be reserved in the Library catalog at library.escondido.org.

Left behind on planet Mars, astronaut Mark Watney faces the challenge of a lifetime in Andy Weir’s El Marciano/The Martian. Rincón Literario will meet next month, on Saturday, August 27, 2016, to discuss the bittersweet Brooklyn by Colm Toibin.
