Chasing the Prophecy

by Brandon Mull

This book is about Jason and Rachel, two people who came to the Lyrian kingdom by chance, and now must help to save it from the wicked emperor, Maldor. In the prophecy issued to them, they must each lead their own group of allies in separate directions, and complete their own quest. Success is needed, and if anything fails, doom with befall them. They have to learn their own strengths, while also learning how harsh the process to victory really is.

I liked this book because it was filled with twists and turns that kept you guessing until the very end of the book. The book was never dull, and continued to excite and amaze throughout. It was full of suspense, making you want to keep reading until the end.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy action filled books or fantasy books. This book is also good for people who enjoy suspense and plot twists, but if cliffhangers and open-ended conclusions aren't for you, then you probably won't enjoy this book.
