The Literacy and Lifelong Learning Department will host a three-part series of workshops beginning the month of February at the Escondido Public Library. “Your Career is Calling”, the first in the three part series, will be held Tuesday, February 19th from 6:00PM – 7:30PM presented by Director of Literacy and Lifelong Learning, Josephine Jones. This workshop will teach future graduates a three step process to better understand how to pursue a path that integrates talents, skills, and passions into a career that speaks to their calling.
The second workshop in the series, “Unleash Your Success” will be held Tuesday, March 12th from 6:00PM - 7:30PM presented by Ramdas Menon, a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master Hypnotist. This hands-on workshop targets fresh college graduates, identifying key factors preventing them from achieving success and removing (through a light hypnosis session) the false beliefs ingrained in the subconscious, which holds them back from achieving their full potential.
The last of the workshop series, “Dealing with Challenges of Transition: From College to Career”, will be held Tuesday, March 26th by Motivational Speaker and Trainer Mirek Gorney. This final workshop, developed for recent college graduates provides information and strategies on how to transition smoothly into a career after college.
Literacy and Lifelong Learning workshops are free to the public, but you must reserve your space by contacting Literacy Department Specialist, Natalie Mason at (760) 839-5450 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
