Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library will host Burritos & Books, a favorite program for teens, ages 12 to 18 years. Teen Librarian, Cathy Janovitz, selects and previews popular teen books, bestsellers and newly published titles and presents quick summaries while teens snack on burritos. Burritos & Books will take place on Friday, November 14, 2014, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Library’s Turrentine Room.
In addition to burrito treats, participants will also receive a free book at the end of the program. The titles highlighted at Burritos & Books are available at Escondido Public Library and can be checked-out, reserved, or teens may want to take note and add them to their reading list.
Cathy Janovitz, commented, “Over 60 teens attended Burritos & Books this summer as part of the Teen Summer Reading Club. The program was so popular that we’re holding this one to preview the latest wave of popular books and new titles coming out this fall. It’s great to see teens discover new books, and I love hearing them talk about their own favorites too.”
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Escondido Public Library. Library programs, events, and services are free and open to the public.
