Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library will host its Children’s Holiday Tree Trimming Party  on Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. Children celebrate this annual event by making an ornament and decorating the Children’s Room tree. They can also make an ornament to take home. This festive event celebrates the holiday spirit with a special visit from Santa Claus.

Kristine Macalalad, Children’s Librarian, encourages families to “Join the fun and make an ornament to hang on the Children’s Room tree. Be sure to arrive early, as craft supplies may be limited, and to also allow enough time to make one to take home.”

Library programs, events, and services are free and open to the public. Programs are sponsored by Friends of the Escondido Public Library. Escondido Public Library is located at 239 South Kalmia Street in Escondido. For information about this and other children’s programs, contact Kristine Macalalad, Children’s Librarian, at 760-839-5458 or at kmacalalad@escondido.org.
