Escondido, CA  –  Escondido Public Library’s Literacy and Lifelong Learning Division is partnering with Goodwill Industries to host a Job Fair on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Library’s Turrentine Room. Escondido Public Library is located at 239 South Kalmia Street, Escondido, CA 92025.

The Job Fair is open to the general public and job seekers will have the opportunity to meet more than two dozen potential employers with open positions that range from entry through professional levels. Participating employers will represent an array of industries and fields including: hospitality, healthcare, education, government, law enforcement, high tech, retail, and manufacturing. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resume and may be invited to participate in on-site interviews.

Escondido Library’s Literacy and Lifelong Learning Division provides adults with one-on-one tutoring and courses to improve their reading and writing skills. The program’s career readiness component builds on the development of these skills to help prepare participants for employment and career advancement.
