Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library offers special programming for Children and their Families during the month of April. All events are free, open to the public, and scheduled to take place in the Library’s Turrentine Room.
 

  • P.J. Storytime- Hop into Spring for children ages 4-12 and their families on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wear your P.J.s and bring your favorite stuffed animal to an evening storytime at the library.
     
  • Composting for a Greener Planet for children ages 5-12 and their families on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Learn how composting can be good for the environment with the City of Escondido Recycling Department, and take home your own seeds to grow!

 

  • Dia de los Niños, Dia de los Libros Celebration for children ages 5-12 and their families on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Celebrate Children’s Day, Book Day and the joy of reading with bilingual stories and songs from Mexico and around the world. There will be traditional tissue paper flower bouquet and paper bag puppet crafts until 4:30 p.m. Participating children ages 5–12 may receive a free book (while supplies last).
