Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library invites children and their families to celebrate the holidays by helping to decorate the Children’s Room Holiday Tree on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Children’s Room. Children can meet Santa, make an ornament for the tree and make one to take home as they enjoy holiday music.

Cindi Bouvier, Senior Youth Services Librarian, commented, “Tree decorating is one of the oldest traditional activities that families share during the holiday season. Join the fun and make an ornament to hang on the Children’s Room tree and be sure to allow time to make one to take home for your own tree. Craft supplies will be provided.”

Library programs, events, and services are free and open to the public. Programs are sponsored by Friends of the Escondido Public Library. Escondido Public Library is located at 239 South Kalmia Street in Escondido.
