Escondido, CA – In response to community demand, Escondido Public Library will offer a new storytime for toddlers, ages 1-3, and their favorite adult this Fall. Toddler Tales will meet every Wednesday from September 4th to October 9th at 10:30 AM in the Children’s Room.

Young parents have asked the Children’s Department to develop fun, educational programs for their youngest children, ages 1-3. Teresa Garcia will share songs, stories, letters, sounds, and new words to help toddlers master early literacy skills and encourage kindergarten readiness.

Library programs, events, and services are free and open to the public. Programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Escondido Public Library. The Escondido Public Library is located at 239 South Kalmia Street in Escondido. Please contact Senior Children’s Librarian, Cindi Bouvier, for further information on this and other Children’s programs at 760-839-4837 or at cbouvier@escondido.org. Other programs and events can be viewed on the Library’s monthly calendar or at http://library.escondido.org/kids
