Escondido, CA – Stop by and meet Escondido Public Library’s information experts at Escondido's Certified Farmers’ Market on September 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2015. The Farmers' Market is open Tuesdays, from 2:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Grand Avenue, between Kalmia & Juniper Streets.

Each week, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Library staff will be on hand to meet the public and learn more about the community’s information needs. They will also share information on how to obtain a Library card, as well as access free resources such as Chilton’s Auto Repair, eBooks and eMagazines. Weekly themes include:

  • September 1 – Tell Us What You Want, What You Really, Really Want! Share what you want for your community.
  • September 8 – How to: Prevent fires. Experts from the Escondido Fire Department team up with Library staff to share tips on fire prevention and answer questions.
  • September 15 – How to: Save water. City of Escondido Utilities Department experts team up with Librarians and share information about water conservation and what you can do to help.
  • September 22 – Creative Community. Meet Library staff and learn by doing; stop by for a collaborative craft for all ages.
