Join a Summer Reading Club and Read to the Rhythm at Escondido Public Library

Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library’s Summer Reading Clubs offer reading fun for all ages and special programs for children, teens, and adults through August 1, 2015. Join a Read to the Rhythm! Summer Reading Club by July 25, 2015 and read for enjoyment and incentive prizes. Register at the Library or online at

Children’s Summer Reading events include craft programs every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. and Read to the Rhythm! Music-themed programs every Thursday at 2:00 p.m.:

  • July 16, 2015 - Ken Frawley Animal Tales and Musical Scales!
  • July 23, 2015 – Craig Newton’s Music
  • July 30, 2015 – John Abrams’ Animal Magic!

Read to the Rhythm! events for teens also include crafts and music-themed programs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, including Hula Basics, Escondido’s Got (Teen) Talent,  and a Live Concert! with Nicole Burns & Katya Brown, and Triceratropical.

Adult Summer Book Clubs and family-friendly concerts are also scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
