Hatchet coverBrian Robeson is training to be a pilot and is flying as a co-pilot with another man. The man then has a heart attack and Brian has to try to fly the plane alone but can't keep control of it and crashes into a forest. Brian is left to fend for himself, fishing to get food, eating berries, and fighting off animals all in an effort to survive.

I thought it was written very well and was a very easy book to understand and read. I would definitely recommend this book to others. It is a pretty easy book to get into and fun to read. It could be the book to read on a plane ride or road trip. People who like solo-survival books would really like this one.
