Selection coverAmerica Singer is neither rich nor poor--just smack dab in the middle of the caste system as an artist. She's in love with Aspen, a handsome boy who's a caste lower than her, but although he returns her affections, he wants her to have something--someone better. This "someone" turns out to be Prince Maxon, part of the highest caste, who is looking for a wife through a game called "The Selection."

I actually liked it! To be honest, the main thing that attracted me to this book was its gorgeous cover, not the Bachelorette/Hunger Games inspired content, but the romance definitely appealed to me as well. The two boys, Aspen and Maxon, are extremely hard to choose between--I can't wait to read the sequel to see who she ends up with!

Anyone who's in for a fluffy taste of Dystopian and a syrupy romance would love this book!
