by Tony Ballantyne
Twisted Metal is a book about a robot named Karel who lives in Turing City, a city where free thinking, intelligent thought, and individuality is encouraged. On the city's borders are the mechanized army of Artemis that have conquered many a city before and have imposed their philosophy that everyone should be the same to promote equality. As these two societies butt heads, the reader can only guess who will come out on top.
I like this book because it is action packed and has a wide variety of characters who share their point of view along with Karel.
I would recommend this book to people who like science fiction and robots, as well as fans of war stories.
