Understanding Medicare and the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) at the Escondido Public Library

Escondido, CA – Need help understanding Medicare and the Affordable Care Act?  The public is invited to attend a free seminar on health care insurance presented by Chi-Fu Hsueh and Cari Keithley, California-licensed health and life insurance professionals, on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Turrentine Room at the Escondido Public Library.

Do you know want to know more about Medicare plans? How will you know if you need a Medicare supplement plan? How will the Affordable Care Act affect you and which new plan should you choose? This seminar will help answer these questions and many more. It will cover Medicare’s different plans and explain what Medicare supplement plan options are and why you might need them.  In addition, an overview of the Affordable Care Act and the many new health plans available in 2014 will also be presented. California’s health insurance exchange, Covered California, will be reviewed.
