Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library will host World of Reptiles for children ages 5-12 years on Thursday, August 24, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Turrentine Room. The program features EcoVivarium of Escondido, a local non-profit organization that introduces children to the world of reptiles, their habitats, favorite foods, and the role humans play in their survival.

This program presents an opportunity for hands-on learning and interaction so that children can get up-close and personal with reptiles, such as bearded dragons, lizards, and snakes. Children’s Librarian Kristine Macalalad states, “EcoVivarium founder Susan Nowicke’s passion for our scaly friends and education is infectious. Children are in for a fascinating show.”
