Escondido Recreation Scholarship
The City of Escondido is excited to launch our scholarship program this year. These funds are made available through generous donations of people just like you and helps to ensure that recreation opportunities are available for all of our community members who demonstrate a financial need. After all, Communities are better when we play together. Eligible recipients will receive $100 each or a maximum of $300 per family per calendar year. To donate to this fund click here.
To qualify for this scholarship:
• Applicants must be a resident in Escondido.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of residency or be able to verify they are experiencing homelessness in Escondido.
• An applicant's household income will be no more than 50% of the County's Area Median Income. To view these income limits click here.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of income by uploading the most recent tax filings along with a government issued I.D.
• Funding is limited and not guaranteed.
• Applicants must apply each calendar year & will be selected on a first come first served basis.
