• City of Escondido Parcel Lookup: Search by address to determine the Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) or vice versa to determine the corresponding address to an APN.
• San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk records online: Search for records by APN, names of homeowners, type of document, etc. Results will not display the actual record but rather give information about which records are relevant to your search. It is a useful first step before making a visit to the county office. Search results will only display from 1970 to present.
• San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk office location: For convenience, a North County branch is located in San Marcos.
• Old Escondido Historic District: This local organization has wonderful home research and preservation resources.
• Pioneer Room: Visit the Pioneer Room to view Escondido City Directories, articles from the Escondido Times-Advocate, Historic Homes and Properties Clipping Files (PDF), and other resources to aid in your research.
