Literacy Services

Since its establishment in 1991, the Escondido Public Library's Literacy Services has served countless adults from Escondido and surrounding communities. The mission of Literacy Services is to promote reading, writing, and comprehension skills as a cornerstone of lifelong learning. Lack of reading skills prevents adults from getting a promotion in a job, managing personal finances, helping their children with homework, or even understanding health information. In support of this mission, the program helps adults build literacy skills that will lead to a better quality of life for them and their families.

All services are Free and confidential.
