Water, Utilities, Trash and Mail
Start Water Service: To initiate water service, please complete the Start Utility Service Form. Note that a 3-day notice is required, and services are started Monday through Friday. For urgent requests, call 760-839-4682.
Gas & Electricity: San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) provides gas and electricity services in Escondido. You can start service by visiting SDG&E's Start Service page.
Trash & Recycling: Escondido Disposal (EDI) manages trash and recycling services. To find your collection schedule and learn more, visit EDI's Service Schedules.
Mail: Update your mailing address through the USPS website.
