SDCOE content coordinators have developed a list of resources specific to subject matter to support distance learning. Please click the link below to view resources that have been curated for each discipline.

Cards Against Humanity is a hilarious game for more mature groups.

 

The Metagame is a party game that asks players to answer questions of opinion based on the cards they have in their hand.

 

Funemployed is the crazy party game where each player is handed four random Qualification Cards to “build their resume.”

 

Lasers & Feelings is a space-themed role-playing game that is fairly simple to play.

  • On a computer, visit Hoopla's website at https://www.hoopladigital.com/
  • On a smart phone or tablet, go to the app store and search for “hoopla”.
  • On either the website or app, create an account with an email address and password. Once you’ve created the account, enter "Escondido Public Library" in the library search. It will then prompt you to enter your card number.

Look to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for some of the most comprehensive information available regarding the coronavirus outbreak.

 

COVID-19 FAQs from WHO, a United Nations agency dedicated to world public health. Information covered in FAQs includes how the virus is spread, symptoms, prevention methods, information regarding treatment, and more.

 

The National Library of Medicine is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As the largest biomedical library in the world, the National Library of Medicine can provide access to clinical studies, public health literature, and scholarly work about the virus.
