Reserve a Meeting Room
The Escondido Public Library is more than meets the eye. Located in historic downtown Escondido, the Library serves as a convenient space to host meetings or events. Close proximity to local museums and eateries makes for an inviting environment which welcomes all types of activities. At this time, the Library does not have any Audio/Visual equipment available for use. If you plan to use AV equipment during your rental, please bring and set up all equipment you may need.

- Multi-room options available through combining the Library's Turrentine Room with the Mathes Recreation Center meeting or dance rooms, also located on the Library Campus.
Turrentine Room
This large assembly room is able to accommodate most types of community events, recitals, and business meetings.
- Reservations may be made up to 90-days in advance of scheduled activities or events.
- Facility renters are limited to a maximum of four bookings per year.
- Seating capacity: 150 theatre style; 120 with tables and chairs; or 64 classroom style. Flexible seating arrangements are available upon request.

Reservation Process
Completed Facility Use Applications may be submitted to vincent.rulien@escondidolibrary.org or in-person at the customer service desk during business hours. A staff member will assist potential renters in defining their event needs, processing the paperwork, and accepting payment. Please note: submission of this application does not guarantee the room is reserved. Reservation will be guaranteed at the time of staff confirmation.
Should the Turrentine Room be unavailable on the applicant's chosen date, staff will help identify alternate City facilities and provide direct contact information.
