Information Systems

The Information Systems Department provides support to all City departments for computers, networks, data processing, GIS, and telecommunications. Information Systems maintains the City's email and voice mail systems. Duplicating and Mail Services are also managed by the Information Systems Department.

California Public Records Act, Local Agencies Inventory

Beginning July 1, 2016, the State of California requires all local agencies to create a catalog of multi departmental systems or systems containing information about the public that store original records and post the catalog on their agency website.

The City of Escondido, in adherence with the latest amendment to the California Public Records Act (SB 272, 2015), has made available the following list of the enterprise systems being utilized.
